(Book) Lovely, Dark, And Deep by Amy McNamara.

a sleepy review (laughs shyly).

this book is written beautifully with a "choppy" style. I don't know how to say it, but yeah, this kind of writing style works just fine with me. the only thing that didn't work for me is the main character itself, Wren. I completely understand why she's so unstable, because a lot of things happened in her past and those are not very pleasant. but, it's just too much. the more I read this, the more I felt frustrated. I don't even want to finish this book at first but my curiosity beat me to it and I'm glad I did.

(Book) Lullabies by Lang Leav

a very short review :)

to be honest, I still enjoyed the first book more than this one. this book feels a lot mature and beautiful but it lacks of something. I'm not sure, it's kind of hard to pointed it out. this book has three chapters in it. chapter one can't seem to make me amazed and the second chapter is just so so. I'm really liking the last chapter, though. it's great, totally a page turner. it's either because I like the strains of a melancholy mournful words or Leav is really that skilled when she writes something in a poetic manner that make me blown away. it's just painfully beautiful to read :)
